What a lucky elephant I am! Yesterday I saw some of the most wonderful dancing I’ve ever seen, at the Te Mahana Hiroa O Tahiti festival. Tahitian dancing is similar to my favorite kind of dancing—Hawaiian hula dancing! The dancers wear beautiful costumes made from feathers and palm leaves.  And they can sure shake their hips! Usually when people travel around the South Pacific, they go by plane. But did you know that some do it by canoe? That’s right!
